They actually do shrink after every rain.....unbeknown to most people sheep when they are born are actually 7 ft tall and 9 feet long.and gradually incur the shrinking rains until they are reduced to a tasty size that we buy in the store.

Huge lamb chops are taste-less.....I think the flavor gets concentrated when they get small.

Cute question. The real answer is, while wool is on sheep, it has a special greasy coating secreted from the sheep's skin called lanolin on it, which keeps the water from getting absorbed into the wool if the sheep get wet.

That is to cute! Well hot water makes things shrink and rain it cold so they are not going to shrink! LOL!

They secretly, at night when no ones looking, have hairdresser appointments where they have deep conditioning treatment with lanolin so they look like prima divas all the time even in the rain. lol

Because God doesn't put them in a dryer...he lets the sun dry them out like they were hanging on a clothes line.
