what year? i'm a leo and played soccer for my first 2 years of high school. i was a floater and got along with everyone. was in few clubs here and there. by my junior year, i was kinda a party girl and hung out with one particular clique that was kinda popular and known for partying. was in student government and hung out with the cheerleaders. wouldn't say i was popular per se but was very well known. by my senior year, i did cheerleading and was in every club including student government and yearbook. was crushed by the catty girls of the clique and started being a b***h to protect myself from being hurt again. had very few REAL friends but the ones i had were my bestest friends. we were inseparable. we took frequent road trips and had a blast. i also was a statistician for the boys varsity basketball team all four years and traveled everywhere they went so had a few guys friends that were older. and because i worked and was involved with activities outside of school, i had a TON of friends from other high schools. basically, i was a social butterfly and loved high school. EDIT: btw people, a clique is "a small group of people, with shared interest or other features in common, who spend time together and do not readily allow others to join". just because you have "different kinds" of friends does not mean it's not a clique. even as adults, you have cliques of friends. it's part of life. and if i shared what kind of person i was (10 years ago i might add), how do i get a TD? i'm sure others would agree with me. some of you really need to stop showing your ignorance because it's annoying. don't answer the questions if you don't understand what he/she's asking for.

When I was at high school (not so long ago) the people I had the most respect for, and who I continue to admire, are the ones who transcended the cliques.

They had the ability to strike up a conversation with anybody, to drift in and out of various groups, never had a cruel or hurtful thing to say about anybody, and if anyone was nasty to them they could just let it slide. It takes some courage and confidence to be that person, but I think you'd look back on you senior year and be proud of how you behaved.

You're almost like me. I graduate from HS on Sunday, and I've always considered myself to be a neutral when it comes to the cliques. I'll hang with anyone.

Who says you have to be in a clique, that is what puts everyone into cattegories and creates borders between everyone. You can be in more than one clique, you can be friends with all kinds of people.
