Simplify this expression (3x + 1)^2 + (2x - 7)^2 please help with this thanks a bunch

(3x + 1)² + (2x - 7)²

= 9x² + 6x + 1 + 4x² - 28x + 49

= 13x² - 22x + 50

= (3x + 1).(3x + 1) + (2x - 7).(2x - 7)
= 9xÂ² + 6x + 1 + 4xÂ² - 28x + 49
= 13 xÂ² - 22 x + 50
