Yes. I personally have grown immensely through learning astrology. This to me is the evidence. I began wondering why certain signs consistently bothered me. From there I learned about oppositions and projections. Studying my own chart has helped me become less defensive, more alive, more consciously present and more tolerant of other life paths than any other spiritual course I have explored. Astrology is a language. A language of myth. Myth is the architecture of our subconscious mind. Astrology, among many subjects, trains the intuitive part of our mind to bring multi-dimensional depth to each moment of life. Obviously I am speaking about more than newspaper sun signs but they have their value. I offer you that opportunity. Give it an open minded chance. Pick some aspect that seems interesting to you. The universe is a beautiful and complex series of interrelationships that all fit together. You are a piece of that truth and beauty. Enjoy your connection to the past, your opportunity in the present, and your lively bright future. How can the flower not contain the sap of the tree. The sunlight of the sky and the fragrance of earth.

A great deal of research has gone into astrology. Astrologers themselves frequently do statistical studies to see if traditional ideas are correct. We look to see if Mars is indeed important to athletes, if Jupiter shows up in important places in religious leaders charts, and so on.

In addition, when a new planet or planetoid is discovered, astrologers research the planet to see what went on in history when it did significant aspecting, to decide what the new body rules. We're still studying Chiron, the asteroids, planets' moons, and other bodies to see what impact they had so that we will know what impact they will have in the future.

But a horoscope drawn up for a generic sign like Taurus is useless. You are much more than your Sun sign; to understand an individual, you need their date, time, and place of birth to draw up a chart for them alone. Then astrology is extremely accurate.

Go to astro.com and have your chart drawn up in confidence for you alone. You can get your forecast there as well. A well done individual chart is an amazing thing-- you will be very surprised at how accurate it is.

Good luck!

Are we talking about Astrology or Horoscopes??

Astrology infers knowledge and is typically accurate.

Horoscopes are just little clips of text in the newspaper that have hardly anything to do with Astrology.

Yes very much. Depends on the astrology type. Vedic and kabalah astrology are dead accurate. There is something called as nadi astrology in India. The scriptures are so old that they are written on leaves. They will predict your name , all about your family, your career, education and all major events in life..They give a casete which contains all information about you. It will also tell about your past life and what actions of past life are causing trouble in this life. Heck they will also tell about your next life. Those who dont believe in rebirth should ask themselves: If there is birth there is death. If there is afterlife could we have been born? soul keeps transmigrating..It has never been wrong and supposed to be of non-human origin..It is a family secret and they do not give it to anyone or publish it..You should visit east and meet face readers, psychics..east is mystical

Our destiny is dependent on the decisions we make. Our decisions are dependent on our mood. Magnetism affects the brain/mood and planets are the ones influencing various magnetic fields on us..and thus our destiny..

just as much as there is to suggest the universe is endless.

And I don't believe horoscopes, for the simple reason that they only go by sun signs and are very general - and even then they're not true at all; most "astrologers" who make up those horoscopes, are new age b*s-ers, who've been left in the dark for about 3 decades now... poor people.

Mine's often very right, but I've heard they just pick stuff relevant to everyone, and if you read all of them you can find they are similar.

Of course it depends what magazine/website/newspaper it is - if it's something like "you will go on the computer today!" you kind of know they've just picked something fairly likely.

In terms of your horoscop making up aspects of your personality, I find this true with everyone I meet - but perhaps they just pick out traits that everybody has.

When it comes to personalities for each sign, they're pretty accurate. But when it comes to predicting what's going to happen to us everyday, like horoscopes in the newspaper, nope! Only God can do that.

If it is true, there should be evidence to back it up. Independent testing shows that it is not more accurate than chance.
