Understanding!

I can't say that I "yearn" for anything. I wish the world wasn't in such a mess, that people would be more civil & less bigoted, but that's a wish/fantasy. "Yearn" is a very heavy word. It's usually referred to as an unhappy, or gnawing feeling of lack for something, either for a clearly defined object (subjective) or for something more abstract, less definite, or BEYOND ONE'S REACH. (As I referenced to the "world.") I have no control over that, but I do in my personal life, & here, I "yearn" for nothing.

Edit: What's with all the vitriolic (non) answers from a faux know it all in this section? Anger issues? Low self esteem? Has anyone else noticed the pattern....

Love, attention, and reinforcement. Some or even what others might consider a lot never seems like too much...I don't think I'm referring to 'being needy' here, really. I guess I'm just saying that too much of a good thing from the right people is probably never too much.

On a more shallow level?? Money. But, mostly on a bi-weekly basis when the money I have (or, actually, don't have) doesn't meet basic needs, as opposed to wants...

I guess i could say that i yearn for more hope and understanding in my surrounding environment. most people just judge within the first glance of a person. but the way i look at it is that if you judge someone than you lose the chance to love them.

Yearning is the road to addiction and attachment. Ask any Buddhist.

What I usually yearn for, would be to have trust and unity among others, and to have World peace, no envy or anger, among ourselves and others, is my wish.

Peace, happiness, and prosperity for all

It wouldn't be perfect if it was just me it would have to be all.
A Yearn that more than likely will not happen "unless" you believe in miracles.
