The VA rating gives the continuous power it can run, and it effectively equivalent to watts.

There should be a VAH or AH (Volt -amp-hours, or amp-hours)rating as well. That will tell you how long it can maintain a certain power.

so if it is 1k VAH it will run a 300 W pc for 1000/300 or 3 hours 20 minutes.

If it is 8 AH then it will run a 300 C pc for 8/(300/120) = 7.5/2.5 or 3 hours 12 minutes.

(power divided by voltage equal current)

1KVA = 1000 volt amperes which is equivalent to 1000 watts, which will support your 300w load very nicely. I believe UPS means uninterruptable power supply , but don't know really what that does for you other than supply a more secure source of power for your pc.

1 KVA is the AC equivalent of 1KW it is the power output rating of the UPS To tell you how long it will work at 300W load you need to tell us how long it will run at 1KVA but roughly 3 times longer would be about right.
