First of all you never mentioned how much older he is. Secondly, make it a point to have your mother meet him and spend time with her. If your mother approves of him it may turn around. If she disapproves, then I would listen to your other. Good Luck. Remember that prayer definetly helps.

She is your mother and there is always something to worry about!LOL
Unsure how old you are but mom's are only looking out for and doing her job to protect you. Listen to your mom. give it a few years and if he is still around then maybe you can have a relationship then.

Well, Afraid to say, Mothers are usually right. I never listened to mine and always ended up in trouble with men. Sometimes we think our mothers are our enemies, Believe me Girl, She is just looking out for you, You will realize this.

I was very young at my first sexual outing. He was much older. We had sex over 100 times for the first 3 months. One the 4th month he told me he was going out of town in the morning and we had sex again for our last time, that was over 20 years ago and I never saw him again. It is up to you if he is too old or not.
