Have dessert with coffee, as opposed to eating a meal, which seems that if I don't eat all of it, my date thinks it's okay to eat the rest of it! Hey, exuse me, maybe I want that for later? Just because I don't gorge myself at the meal, doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it. Sorry, little peeve of mine. Anyway, as far as entertainment, I like movies, and then discussing them afterwards. It really helps me to understand how he thinks. Shooting pool is a bunch of fun too!

Cheap dinner (not McD's!) and drinks. And whatever event is going on to walk around, even if it's a farmer's market. But not a movie. You can't talk, you miss part of the movie when you use the restroom. Even a dinner night at home is a cool date. Then you can hit pause.

if it's a daytime date, i like to play tourist and check out a new town or new things.
if it's a nighttime date, i like to walk around for hours getting to know them over a nice hot takeaway coffee.
