9. Books about the mormon church that a lady in a chatroom sent me. Never read them, didn't really ask her to send them to me. Also she mentioned about sending them back after I would read them. This if course after I received them. I could keep the book of mormon which I also never have read.

1. No way
2. Nope... if you move, you can pack them in other boxes.
3. Nope
4. Why?
5. Depends on the toy... if my kids like it, I might keep some of them
6. Nope. Take a picture if there is something really sentimental and make a scrapbook page or something.
7. Well, it is always good to keep a FEW pens on hand... but not too many.
8. Old cell phones can be donated to some shelters for abused women. Look around in your area or online for ideas of where to donate them. I don't keep mine.
9. Well, send them back then.
10. Nope.
11. Again, take a sample of it or a picture and make a scrapbook page.

I have learned from moving a lot in the last few years that a lot of the things that we think we need are actually garbage! It is hard sometimes, but get rid of the clutter!!

throw the candy away-it's probably not even good anymore. Throw away all those empty boxes, you should only keep them for like 2 months after you buy stuff or at most until the warranty runs out, throw away the waterfall (if it doesn't work, why have it?), if you have a bin or drawer to keep the happy meal toys in for your kids then put them in there, if not i'd just get rid of them, unless if the party favors hold some kind of special meaning to you, i'd throw them away, throw away pens, cell phones you can donate here's more info http://wirelessrecycling.com/home/donations/index.html , unless you want to read those books I would give them to a donation center, definitely throw away old calenders, and I would throw away all the wrapping paper but keep the gift bags because you can reuse them.

All of this stuff is really simple: if you need it/have a use for it/it holds (very special) meaning then keep it

If not: TOSS IT, or at least find a place to put it where no one will see it (under the bed?) hehe

Ditch items #1, 2, 3, and 4~~boxes are big, big space wasters; when you need one, you can likely find one that'd do the job~~

#5 happy meal toys can be given to a local charity house; little kids love getting to pick through a basket of them~~

Ditch #6 items~~

#7 sort through the old pens to see which ones write really well; ditch the rest~~

#8 old cell phones shouldn't just be thrown out; go by a local cell phone outlet and ask where you can safely dispose of them, or search online for an answer to this (I don't have a cell phone or I'd already know this answer)~~

#9 don't keep any book you aren't planning to read; they can go back to the original owner if you still have her address, or just send them along with the happy meal toys to the charity~~

#10 keep any calendar pages that have birthday dates or special dates you might forget, and then transfer that info to your computer for future reference and ditch the paper~~

#11 use 1 only of your soon-to-be-ditched boxes to store any gift bags that are in good reuseable condition in a closet; then ditch the wrapping paper; no one wants to see their old wrapping paper coming back at them! If you are extremely sentimental, you could save the birthday cards that come with the gifts in a small/med sized box (my mom does that).

Rule of thumb is: If you haven't used it or looked at it in the past year, then consider putting it in the trash (or want ads). For example, if you didn't decorate and hang those candy canes on your tree within a year of collecting them, they need to go. I often plan to use things that never comes about and later have to ditch them or resell them. Of course, the one year rule doesn't apply to your valuable family heirlooms or collectibles, which normally stay out of sight. Practice throwing away the daily clutter though and sort through everything at least once a year for garage sale stuff. If you are riding the fence on an item, keep it for a short while longer, but review what to do with it within the month.

Good luck!

the things that dont matter to you but are worth something you can sell at a yardsale or sell on line at places like ebay or your area craigslist. try selling your electronics with no warranty for like 5 bucks at the yard sale and have a little money to help buy new electronics you can check out this website Call2Recycle and give your old cell phones or check out the place you bought the phone from. Verizon stores often have cell phone drop boxes. If it doesnt work, its edible and old or you dont use of think about in a week throw it away. As far as sentimental things you can take a picture of them put them in a scrap book and throw away or put in a box in storage that way you can have the space and use the scrap book to look at them often. try donating the books to a local mormon shelter, church or library.

If it's not donatable or recyclable, it's landfill. If you don't feel up to the first two items, get a big plastic baggy, dump everything into it, and don't look back.

I have to do this every 2-3 years. I've learned that garages are for cars, not boxes of old telephone books...

1. toss, these are trash
2. only keep if you plan on selling one day and they have value with the original boxes
3. toss, they just take up space. If you don't plan to move in near future you don't need them. Only keep boxes during warranty period
4. toss, can't be worth much $
5. toss or have a free box at your next garage sale.
6. if your baby shower, keep one in a memory box and toss the rest.
7. toss
8. donate to charity for our servicemen
9. donate to goodwill or a charity
10. toss
11. toss, doubtful you will ever go back and relive a memory with wrapping paper.

if you plan on having kids you may want to keep the mcdonalds toys. and if you plan on selling the music boxes ever it would be nice to have the boxes. some of the stuff could be used for crafts ie scrapbooking. but you might want to get rid of whatever was broken and donate whatever else is left that you dont want. you could donate it to a local church or scout troop.
