I bought the sound track cuz i collect musical soundtracks. The music for Wicked makes it seem the musical would be very good. Does anyone have any info on what its about or anything?

It's really good and you should absolutely go see it! It's the real story of what happened before the Wizard of Oz... How Galinda and Elphaba (the witch) became friends and how everything got messed up...

Stephen Schwart's "Wicked" is very loosely based on the novel of the same name by Gregory Maguire. It tells the story of the two witches of Oz from "The Wizard of Oz", Glinda the Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.
It explains lots of the plot points in the "Wizard of Oz" such as the flying monkeys, the ruby-red slippers and her black pointy hat.
It's a good musical for teenage girls and it is so sugary it will make your teeth rot! If you're already into the soundtrack I would definitely recommend going to see it because the visual effects are amazing.

It's about the "Wizard of Oz". It goes back to when Glinda and the wicked witch of the west were growing up and explores the things that you never saw in the movie. It is worth seeing. The storyline is so cool. and the whole show is amazing.

its amazing! Read the book its based on first. Basically the Wicked Witch (Elphaba) and Galinda were roommates in college and Elphaba stole Galinda's boyfriend. Its all what happened before Dorothy came.
