Have you seen the Yankees Starting Outfield. Its good, but we've been switching Them constantly because of injuries to Matsui and Damon.
Bobby Abreu is slumping, a .242 batting average isn't gonna cut it in New York. He's not putting up numbers to support the Pitching.
The Yankees need to take risks right now

Bernie Williams wouldn't help this club he knows that and he wouldn't take their offer what a slap in the face the Yankees gave him. What a joke? Do you really think he would want to come back with the way they treated him? The Yankees organization pretty much slapped him in the face and said he was nothing and he wasn't even good enough to make the team he would have to earn it if not he's in the minors. So what point do the Yankees have to make to bring him back when they already believe he can;t play anymore?

Absolutely not, hey maybe they could get Reggie Jackson too? Or anybody that was ever good on that team. They yankees only answer is $$$$$$$$$$$. Its sad, really sad for baseball. Yankees would be the worst team in baseball with a salary cap. Oh waite, they almost already are. Save Bernie Williams the heart ache, he's got his rings when they were actually a dinesty, not a joke.

Heck no that is obserd they dont need any one else in the outfield to make it weaker i mean Bernie is just old and slow and doesnt have and arm and he doesnt have much of a bat left, now if he can go out there and and give them 6 or 7 solid innings every week then yea go for it and one more thing the yankees need to start gettin younger if not they are going to be like the Miami Heat this year fill with old talent.

Yes, they do need him. They have a good lineup and adequate backups at each position, but he would bring back that old Yankee spirit that most of the current players don't have. The Yankees 10 years ago weren't as good on paper, but showed much more heart on the field. His presence in the club house could make the bombers go on a run and get big winning streak. Plus he is a clutch hitter and can be used for pinch hit situations.

The Yankees need pitching not another outfielder. Anyway Yankee management has burn their bridges with Bernie. They should have handled the situation much better than they did.

Bernnie Williams is not the answer. They need to go find themselves some pitching, and I mean in addition to Clemens.
