LOL Yes! I'm glad some one else feels like this to. People don't really want your life story when they ask you this it is more of a being polite thing. You say fine, couldn't be better, a little tired but makin' it....
Oh yeah, don't ever ask a woman who is crying what's wrong! You will never get away and when you finally do you will feel sad the rest of the day!

Yes. Even when I'm having a bad day and someone asks how I am, I say "Okay." simply because I know that nobody really gives a ****, they're just asking to be polite and I don't want to be "That person" that drones on and on about their constipation and the guy their grown daughter is cheating on her boyfriend with, blah blah blah.
I know one lady and it's to the point I don't even ask her how she is anymore. I'm just like "Oh, hello! Sorry I can't talk, I'm SOOO busy these days. We'll chat next time!"

Yes! Either you get an in-depth answer that you DONT want (and of course you ask those questions in the MORNING, then you arent awake enough to actually pay attention, or even look like you care, but you maintiain yourself just enough every morning to still seem polite).............OR peple are just plain rude or OVERLY cheery in the mornings. Makes you want to literally punch them. Or maybe that's just me. I think I have some issues. Sorry.wow.

nope but I'd love to do that to someone you know how you get asked "how are you" in shops all the time and you know they really don't give a shiit either way well I'd like to launch into a big spiel about how my day really has been crappy blah blah blah an just rabbit on at the poor person

I was delivering pizza the other day and asked that and some guy said "Bad" So I asked him why and he said "Because I'm old" So I said "well there's no cure for that is there?" He actually laughed and gave me a big tip!
