I think it's caring enough to put someone else before yourself. If I love someone, I would put my life on the line for them without a second thought.

I've always said that what I most want in love is to have "my best friend, with passion".
For me, love is cornerstoned by Truth, Honesty, Friendship, and Communication. It's learning to not only accept the other's good points and faults, but to embrace them. And to always grow as both individuals, but together as well.
