Mozilla should work fine, true. But, without more info on the specific error, it is hard to answer this question. She may need to install the latest Java build.

Mozilla is at http://www.mozilla.org

Java can be found at http://www.sun.com

Two things you can try - I would recommend #2 :

1 - this happens when some additional add-ons / helpers are running with Internet explorer. Some yahoo helpers/objects can also cause this every time you close internet explorer. To remove or disable add-ons, go to IE, tools menu, and click on "Manage Add-ons" - Try disabling the ones you dont think you need. I would start with Yahoo ones and remove and test and see if problem persists.

2 - Quit using IE and download FireFox from www.mozilla.com and you will not have these issues. I've been using FireFox and am very very happy with it.

I had a similar problem so i wrote down the error code and typed it into my search bar .

The first result was from windows help asking me to download a security update and fix the problem .

If i remember correctly its something to do with realtek audio drivers conflicting with windows programming .

Just download the fix that's all .

Hi. I recommend she switch to Firefox. It's free, easy to learn, and more reliable.
