These happen once per month... but they only last for a portion of the day, so it may not happen for you in your part of the world for a particular month.

Once a month, however, often it passes alot further away than on May 19th, or at the wrong time of day so only other parts of the world get to see it, or Venus is too close to the sun, only visible before sunrise, or it's cloudy, or you're inside or at home or don't look up. Sometimes the Moon passes high above or below many times and never gets close like it did on 5-19-07 for a whole year or two.


Did you know, the Moon takes 1 hour to move it's diameter.
