I don't know about on-line, as prefer to try on clothes and finger them and see them before buying. However, there are thrift stores and rummage sales. There is also Craigslist and Freecycle, as had been mentioned. You could also try clothing swaps with friends as well. My sister does that constantly with other moms who have children at the in home daycare that her daughter goes to and even, I think, with other teachers at her school.

I don't condone buying new, unless it's at least 50% off, since I think by then, the store is selling it cost. However, I've heard from my sister and other mom's that Kohl's also has good clearance racks. On Friday, I got a maternity shirt there for I think $18 (originaly $30) and jeans that I think were $8, final cost. I know the jeans were really cheap because my mom suggested that I get another pair to make into cutoffs. It was enough that I was buying new, but to cut them up, didn't compute in my brain. (The clothes were on sale for 40% off and my mom had a 20% coupon; I think she got a bit more off when she used her Kohl's card, since I heard an ad for that over the loudspeaker.) My mom bought them and I really didn't look at the prices, since she didn't seem to care. Okay. Thanks, Mom.

I've don't condone shopping at Wal-Mart, but my siblings and mother have found kids' clothes on the clerance rack for just a few dollars there, too.

Oh! Resale/Consignment shops might work, too. There's a children's resale shop in my mom's town. We wen there to see if they had maternity clothes, which they did. I found a pair of kahaki shorts there for about $5 and a fitted white 3/4 sleeve blouse for a dollar. Not bad, really.

Anyway, I hope this helps.
