Forget about seduction for a bit. The first thing to do is to make contact with the person and show an interest in them. If they are receptive, take it to the next step and ask them out. If they aren't interested, don't feel bad-they could already be in a relationship or just not have the same feelings towards you. Expect to be shot down 90% of the time.
Once you have a date with the person, then start worrying about seduction. Again, forget about full blown seduction for a while. Be charming and attractive, but don't expect that the object of your desire will fall into your arms instantly. It's nice when it does happen; but in my experience it doesn't happen that fast most of the time.
