Before I leave the house I make sure that the coffee maker is turned off and all the doors and windows in the house are locked and if someone is home I always make sure I say bye to them.

Lock the front door 6 times turn the door knob 4 times flip the light switch 6 times check the coffee pot 4 times spin around 7 times click my heels together twice then I panic and go back to bed. It's a big scary world out there!!!!

I make sure that I lock up the windows, and have everything like my keys and cell phone before I leave my apartment and lock my doors.

I always check that my shoes are in the car...I can't drive with shoes on!
I have been caught out once when I got to work and realised that I had no shoes in the car. I had to go all the way home (1 hour drive) to get them coz I wasn't spending all day in the office with no shoes!!

turn off everything!make sure alarm is set. check all doors. and place my hand on my Pitt Bull's head and give him a Pretend Kiss and Tell him to take care of everything and I'll be back in a little while....
