........yes possibly, but don't assume anything till you are tryingg, if you don't fall pregnant after a year of hard tryin it's best to talk to a fertility specialist. I have polycystic ovaries myself........I don't have the syndrome( facial hair, overweight etc) but I have seven cysts on one ovary and eight on the other....this restricted my fertility because I don't ovulate correctly each month.....we ended up having IVF. It's best not to assume anything, talk to a specialist about your concerns when the time is right.

Ovarian cysts on their own are incredibly common and usually harmless but very painful. When they're chronic, when periods stop or other symptoms of PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) are present, it can be a bigger health problem, which can interfere with fertility.

if they become too large or the pain is too severe they may have to be removed surgically, which can affect fertility. But many many women have cysts and go on to have sucessful pregnancies.

I don't believe so. I have had cysts on and off for years. In fact, I had one rupture while I was pregnant and my daughter was born healthy.
