...Everyday at noon, I clean the cat by licking it's entire body. Although it's difficult to hold the cat still and lick at the same time, I believe it's important to establish this trust to gain the cat's love.
Yes, I have lost an eye and had 16 stitches in my cheek, but don't you think it's all worth it?

It might be much easier to just try talking in a higher-pitched voice! I read an article some time ago that suggests cats' hearing is more adaptable to higher frequencies.

Of course it's worth it! The best way to get the cats attention is to clean the areas that it can't clean on its own ;). Good one buddy.

Love is not boastful, love is not proud.

If the cat is to be your love you must set it free. I recommend attaching its tail to an ICBM bottle rocket and set it off. If the cat comes back.......I respectfully request the front seat at your wedding.

I have the same problem with my husbands DAMN cat. The ***** will hiss and bat at your feet (claws out mind you), every morning to demand her "wet food". (spoiled brat)
So, I figured..."If I can't LICK her, kick her".... and I give it right back at her. But I've been declawed and she always has the advantage!

At least you didn't try to breed the cat. The scars from that would take longer to heal.
