I have taken two different birth controls and both make menstrual periods worst. Does anyone use any that help cramps and that don't have too many side affects? Thanks for any possible help.

Every woman will be different.

I am on Kariva (pill) and have had zero side affects. No weight gain, no mood swings, etc.

I was on depo and had horrid side affects.

They all have side effects if you are talking about birth control pillls. This is something you need to discuss with your doc as only he can help you figure out what might work for you.

I've only used seasonale and for me it's been a blessing. Everyone's different though. You may have to try a couple different ones to find the best for you. Good luck!
