I think a LOT of you missed the point of the question or misread it.

I was wondering the same thing about the asker's question earlier today. Seems like the section is mostly full of requests from American high school students, most of whom won't have homework for about 2 1/2 months and thusly won't need to log on to Yahoo Answers for help. On the other hand, many students take summer school, and students who need the remediation of summer school are probably the ones who'll come here asking for help.

Not to mention the college kids who'll take classes year round.

I think the section will slow down significantly, but it won't shrivel up and die.

Well.. if you do get homework for the summer and need help with it, you can always go to summer school or kumon classes.
Homework help doesnt just end because the school year is ended. Lots of kids take summer school that help them with their homework. You can also email your teacher to get them to help you. Friends are a good help too.
