After you scrape off as much as you possibly can, use Naptha. You can but it at the hardware store. It is what they use in Dry Cleaning and it wont affect color....if its fabric!

I used gas on mine BUT I had it opened up all afternoon after I did it .

prob not going to happen. got some on carpet in car tried everything to get it out. ended up buying floormats.
