Well about a year ago i was obese i guess you could say and my private was really small no that i lost a ton of weight and only like 10 pounds over weight my private has not grown so im a little embarresed about my physical in a few days. I dont want to be embaresed by my private lol.
What does the doctor do i go to a pedetrician i think its a women. On a physical for 9th grade. Serius answers only please.

I also am very uncomfortable taking any of my clothes off. So can i get the physical with them on.

Last time they did the squeeze she just put her hand down my pants and squeezed. With gloves on of course.

You can ask for a male doctor. They will want your clothes off. They will check you ears, nose & throat. They will examine your neck to check your glands and thyroid. They will look into your eyes and do a vision test. They will check your lungs and heart by listening to them. They will take a urine sample and check your testicles for lumps. Its a quick and pain free examination. No one will be "checking out" your genitals. They have seen a million already...No big deal! Good-Luck with your physcial.

Well, it depends on what they have to check you for. The whole pants down thing is for a hernia. 99% of the time they arent even required, but most medical doctors check anyway.
Heres the secret, if you are worried about something like that, go see a Chiropractor, they give physicals and the do it a lot cheaper than a medical doctor. Plus they dont really check for hernias because they dont have to.

Boy or girl, privates come in all sizes. Do not be ashamed, you can be sure your doctor has seen ALL varieties and sizes.
Do not be embarrassed. There is no reason to be. The doctor will examine you allowing for as much modesty as possible.
One thing that will probably be required is to check you for hernias. That's what the 'check and cough' bit is about.
Remember that everyone has privates. Big news, huh?

Your doctor undoubtedly sees many, many peoples naked bodies. As a professional, he or she will only be worried about whether you are healthy or not. I know it can be uncomfortable exposing your body to a stranger, especially if you are self-conscious, but the doctor won't judge your proportions or tease you. And it'll all be over before you know it!
I'm a girl, so may not have had quite the same sort of physical as you, but they usually don't go into your "swimsuit area" I don't think. You go to a different doctor for that.

you should only have to drop your pants for a minute, just long enough for a hernia check. the provider will feel your testicles while you cough. that's it your clothes stay on the rest of the time, and remember its back to school physical, every boy you know goes through the same thing. which means that your doctor has checked alot of hernias recently

It is completely reasonable that you request a male doctor. Tell you parents that you are no longer comfortable having a woman examine you. Do not hesitate to tell the nurse that you do not want your mother or any other female in the room when you are having your physical. My son was about 10 when he asked for privacy.

This is normal but you are young and still maturing. Consult your doctor and the physical is mostly with clothes on but they might do the "squeeze and cough" test so you will have to drop your pants for this one.

ANY DOCTOR that would EVER examine you with your clothes on is a criminal and should immediatly lose his/her licence. I understand you are embarassed, but trust me, NOONE cares about how big or small your penis is. In fact, since you are so young, again, it will probably grow, so your pediatrician may already know that...
Plus, trust me, she has probably already seen her share of penises and you could not impress her (in any way, big or small). So...
I am afraid you'll have to be a man, and pull this one out with calmness. Be a MAN!
(After all, manhood is a state of mind and has nothing to do with your... privates. You'll find out soon enough...)

I don't think she will be looking there although she might ask if you are having problems there=you will have your ears,eyes,mouth looked at =you will be asked to cough while she listens to your chest =you will get your b/p and pulse done=you will have reflex tests done =you will be weighed=you will be asked to give a p sample and get blood work done=she will ask you what diseases you have had like mumps=you will be asked if you had any operations hope I haven't forgotten anything=also you might need a booster shot

If you're just getting a physical, there should be no taking off of the clothes or looking at any privates.. :) They usually check basic things during a physical..
