A good restaurant will run you anywhere from 40-100 a meal. If not including gambling or hotel i would bring a grand if you plan on eating at the nicer restaurants every day three times a day

Las Vegas is just a city with great attractions and one particular is the popular Las Vegas Strip; the place where tourists may have a walk in the warm leave evening, or have a stroll downtown and view a stunning gentle show that spans an entire street, the Fremont Street Experience. Defiently depends on how much you gamle Me and my husband went for our honeymoon for 5 days and $400 was plently but we eat at cheap restaurants catch a few expensive shows and watch all the free shows over and over hahahaha a $100 a day should cover it NOT counting gambling money. We didn't gamble because I'm only 18
There are some pretty "nice" restaurants that are costly though Also if you have alot of spending money you should see the "blue man group" at the Venencian Its $120 per person but everyone who lives in Vegas or has been there and seen it will tell you its the best show hands down.
They have a lot of free shows in every hotel plus just walking down the strip and going inside every hotel is free and alot more fun then wasting money gambling in my opinion

Also it depends if you are renting a car, going to drive there with your own or have a taxi. ALL taxis in Vegas are $3.80 for the first 1/8 mile then .25 for every 1/8 mile after that! Expensive!

Have fun in Vegas!

Sarah! = )

Realisticly it will cost you between 40 and 80 dolalrs a day. A good meal can run you anywhere from 15 dollars and up. Breakfast is always pretty cheap and you can grab a snack almost anywhere. A good beer (or 4) can be free, if you are gambling, or over 10 dollars, depending on where you go. If you go to higher end clubs, drink prices can start at about 12 bucks and go up from there. 50 to 60 dollars is a reasonable amount to factor in unless you want Dom Peringnon and Lobster every night.

I think you can eat farily well in Vegas for less than $100.00 per day. Breakfast for less than $10.00. Lunch maybe $15.00 and for dinner up to $50.00 at a very good restaurant like The Swiss Cafe. Wine or drinks could add as much as $25.00 per person.

Do you want to rent a car or ride in taxi's, etc. Bring money for that. Taxis are cheaper than in New York City, but more expensive than Des Moines think accordingly. On a crowded weekend be prepared to wait for your taxi. You may even be tempted to take a limo where the lines are shorter.

Drinking is "free" if you are gambling, but the house makes a lot of money off of those "free" drinks.

Also, you will want to consider whether you're going to spend money on entertainment. "Entertainment" runs the gamut from "Forever Plaid" to strip clubs and hookers. Some is more expensive than others.

Don't ask a cabbie for advice on entertainment or food. He or she will take you to a place that gives him or her a kickback. It's a kickback you will pay for and the food or entertainment will be no better than someplace else.

Finally, Vegas is one of those towns where "money talks." The guy who is willing to spread a little money around in tips, etc, gets treated with respect.

If you have $100 a day you will do fine. You will never spend it.
Did you eve see Rachel Rays Vegas on $40 a day. She did well and ate at some good places. Including the Palms.
Have you been here
before?
If so you know lots of places.
A beer at the bar is $3.

You can get beer at the convenience store and drink it at the pool. Just hide under your lawn chair.

Not including gambling money, $100 a day and you'll be pretty comfortable. You don't want to worry about money on vacation. Planning on spending $100 a day will give you that luxury.

Just for food and drinks? I'd say at least $400.00 I guess it depends on what you consider a "nice meal". We do maybe one "EXPENSIVE" meal at like Mesa, or a steakhouse, and the rest is pretty moderate like cheesecake factory , house of blues etc.Just remember that when in the casinos you drink for free, so that helps out alot. We are going on monday for 4 days. 2 of us and we like to eat at nice restaurants, and not hold back b-cuz of money. We are mild to moderate gamblers and will probably take at least $1500.00 for the both of us. I guess better safe then sorry. Take more then you expect to need, and if you come home w/ some its just a bonus.
