I had problems with this product too. I bled for 28 days straight for three months (with a few days off to regain my blood supply) and was anemic and very lethargic. I opted not to get the shot ever again (obviously). There is nothing they can do for your symptoms now, you have to bear it for three months. I am sorry you are going through this, I feel your pain. My advice...never get the shot again!

I've heard that a lot of women have trouble with depo. I don't think the solution is to then try to re-balance with even more medication. Maybe just some over the counter painkillers is the best you can do, most women just wait and go back on the pill.

You need to contact your doctor and get a new medication and this one causes problems for lots of women.
P.S. The word is slews not sloos.

Blah. I hate that crap! I bled for 6 months straight. The only thing you can do is wait it out. Until then take as good of care of yourself as possible. Tell your doc about your problems too so that you can discuss alternative methods to the shot.

as quickly as I went off the shot it took months for my cycle to settle returned right into a ordinary. This became years and years in the past yet i think of it took approximately 5 for me to start up having everyday menstrual flow returned.

They can't reverse the effects you will have to grin and bear it until the shot is over.

I was on it for four years and it sucked! I had horrible side affects.

I am on Kariva now and much much happier (NO side affects!).
