Really open wide spaces (such as a desert, open sea) and you can see nothing but the horizon, especially at night time when you look up at the limitless black sky with twinkling stars. I hate to be alone out there. I would feel extremely uncomfortable.

Not sure if there is a phobia name for that.

There goes my dreams for traveling out of space.

Yep, I've got a couple, spiders/ants and needles are the main ones. Heights used to be my other issue, but I've over come that now.

well, I used to have arachnophobia.. but one day I was driving down the highway and a mid sized spider came off my ceiling right down in front of my eyes and just stared at me eye to eye... I was going about 70 at the time.. and in my mind my choices were I could freak out and risk a horrible wreck and death or I could deal with the issue... I dealt with it.. and now spiders and I have an understanding.. they don't mess with me, I don't stomp them.. that's been about 7 years and I no longer get anxiety or fear over spiders.. just a mutual understanding :)

i seriously have a fear of people with obvious physical defects like midgets, people with extra fingers or who are missing fingers, or mentally handicapped people....oddly enough people with prosthetics dont bother me though....i dont want to be scared of them i just am i think its because my step grandpa when i was really little was missing several fingers...i always act very calm and pretend that it doesnt bother me but inside im cringing...it makes me feel bad.
