Loved 16 Candles too but am not 16 and really my family is that crazy and dysfunctional they will forget what's left of them at least lol

Families are a disappointment. I've learned this the hard way. Keep your expectations very low. Do something with your friends instead.

It*s very disappointing when that one day a year that is exclusively yours is overlooked and forgotten by those you love the most. Although it isn*t the same, won*t you allow us, the answers family to wish you a HAPPY B*DAY, and receive the happy thoughts and wishes that we are extending? Just knowing that we care, and are here for you really should cheer you up. It would me. What kind of cake would you want the most?

There is hope dear! How do you accomplish this, "just think of all the birthdays of all of those you love as "one birthday", and celebrate them all at once including your own, oh and don't forget to invite everyone to the party, and don't forget to feel joy for everyone even if they don't attend!
