My definition of a, "Real man" was my father.
Stepped to the plate for his own large family, friends and strangers. Taught us to not judge, stand up for our self and taught us to be a jack of all trades.
Was my rock to lean on, when things were bad at times he was there to guide me through the darkest challenges of my life. No and can't were two words that he seldom used.
As a child growing up I can remember waiting for father to come home from work, with tired eye's, dirt covered hands and always a smile on his face. I remember the camping, hunting, fishing trips the family went on. My father taught us to drive, use a rifle properly, only shoot what is needed for the dinner table, never waste. Taught us to sew, cook and most business minded. He taugh respect, love and honer, for that is why he is a real man.
The world lost a real man the day he passed on.
Thank you.

A real man is someone who is honest, to himself and others, cares about his friends, gives freely of his love and friendship and sees the world through eyes that are wise enough to understand life but can still dream a little and look to the future without pessimism. He has the courage to face life and all its difficulties and not become bitter and still maintain a sense of humour and always have time for the people he cares about, no matter what else is on his mind. And a real man is kind and gentle and not afraid to show this side of himself to those he cares about, and when things go wrong he is able to cope and sort out problems and when hes happy he knows how to let the childish side out and have a laugh and enjoy himself and he knows how to make the people he loves smile too.
And hes modest too.If you praise him up, he'll just deny it. I know because I know a real man :)

A real man is someone who will own up to their responsibilities. Also if they are in a relationship make their lady feel like a person instead of an object or personal maid..Just as a real woman would do..Ya know I could go on and on about this subject...lol..

I once heard my boyfriend try to talk to his son about peer preasure by saying the definition of a man is 'someone who does what he wants to do and doesn't give in to others'. I told him this was a bad example because a 'real man' does what needs to be done whether he wants to or not. He does his job, takes care of his family, and is an upstanding citizen. If all men went around doing what they 'wanted' to do they'd all be cheating, lazy, broke, armchair-quarter backs with 10 kids each trying to from their own basketball teams.

A real man is a man who can be himself around me, and treat me the same even when his friends are around. A real man has a sensitive side, and is not afraid to show it, but he can still be tough when he needs to. He has a sense of humor, and is not just a walking robot. He also should be kind to me, and treat me well and respect me. A nice body isn't necessary, but it helps! :) I believe that a real man knows what he is doing in tough situations, and can protect me from any harm.

A man who:
Respects a woman.
A man who cares.
A man who is not afraid of crying.
A man who is emotional and understands others.
A man who knows when to help out and wants to.
A man who is not lazy and can take up the task of caring for his wife's children if she goes out.
A man who can take responsibility when he has to.
A man who can stay faithful and be honest.
That's a real man.

A sense of humor, confidence, loving. Tell me I'm beautiful even when I've put on a few pounds. In it for the right reasons, the long hall. Listen to me about my day, and make dinner for a surprise. Call just to say you love me. Buy me roses for no reason at all. Hard working, creative dates, cuddle at bedtime with no strings attached ( without sex). The bottom line is make me laugh, love me, love your children, love God. You are on the right tract asking such a question. *wink wink* Good luck. I'm very lucky to have a great father to my daughter and husband to me.

Someone who is ambitious, resourceful, gentleman-like. I like men who have a great career and will be able to provide a semi-luxurious life for his family. I don't mean that the kids first car has to be a brand new porsche.. But I want to live in a nice house and drive nice cars.. Oh wait.. I already do! ;)
