I grab a garbage bag a go room to room with it and pick up all the garbage. Then I go room to room and get all the dishes and glasses and bring to the sink. Then I go around a grab all the dirty clothes from room to room with a laundry basket. Anything left must have a place, so I put it where it goes. Then I run the vacuum and dust the tables (every room). I then take on the kitchen and put everything in the dishwasher (or hand wash if you don't have). Then I go room to room and sweep up into piles. I then go back and mop each of those rooms. Then I go around with the windex and do all the mirrors and windows and doors. That usually takes me down to the laundry room and start on the laundry.
