I would. Rivera will come around to his normal form and Shilling is having a great year.

You shouldn't even have to ask about this trade. Rivera will be just as good as Rivera plus you get a quality starter on top of that? This is heavily in your favor. Do this trade before the other person has second thoughts. Rivera is going to turn it on and be dominant. Schilling is already pitching great.

If I knew you personally, I would seek you out and pat you on the back. You should do this deal in an instant. You're going to find Rivera cheap since his numbers are lackluster, but if you remember, he had similar numbers early on in the last couple years too. I have gotten him cheap the last two years, and am currently trying to do so right now. With Saito, he has good numbers right now, but Broxton is waiting in the wings if he screws up, which he is capable of doing as the season wears on. Schilling is simply a bonus who could easily pay off dividends. Look at his career numbers and it seems that he has a great year every two years. This season would then look to be a good one. Good luck!

Absolutely, if this is available. Rivera's k/bb is fine, and he has been superb in May. Once Clemens joins the staff, he'll get several more save opportunities. You could argue that Saito for Rivera is even. Schilling will be helpful in all categories, and I agree that you need one more starting pitcher.

Absolutely do it. This is a great move for you. You get a great starting pitcher with Schilling. Rivera will also eventually be better than Saito. He has had some bad luck early on but it will turn around, as baseball always has a way of averaging out

That may be the best trade ever for you. Schilling gives you a workhorse pitcher, and I guarantee Rivera won't be this bad all year. He had a similar poor start last year and worked it out. He's not done yet. A great buy low guy right now.

of course ur getting rivera whos equal to saito so adding schilling pushes this trade way in ur favour not to mention both play on very good teams.

DO IT, it is a good trade for you. Rivera can't suck the entire season plus you get Schilling who is having a great year.

I would do it. Rivera will come around and will get you 30+ saves and your getting Schilling for nothing. Jump on it.

Assuming you mean Mariano Rivera of course you should. Your starting pitvching is better than you think it is, but when you can trade a closer for a better closer AND a very useful starting pitcher you come out way ahead.
