If so, at what dilution/concentration?

I mean, in addition to the saline solution I already use - can I add a couple of drops of tea tree oil into, say, a pint of saline solution?

The neti pot is the best thing to clean out your sinuses. You will wash stuff out that you never knew was in there. Then you will blow your nose, and be very clean. Opens up your entire head. NO TEA TREE OIL in your NOSE!!!

Sniffing Tea Tree Oil

The best thing for sinuses is called Goldenseal Nasal wash by Michael's. I dilute half and half with saline solution so it doesn't burn much at all. Also just Peppermint, Eucalyptus or Lavender essential oil in a bowl of hot water with a towel over your head and breath in the steam. Do this several times a day for it to make a difference. Also take Vit.C about 3-6000 mg a day.

Never ingest tea tree oil. It is for external use only, and should never be applied around the eyes.

If you accidentally ingest the oil, immediately contact a doctor or a poison control center.

P.S.
Some toothpastes contain tea tree oil. However, because the oil is dangerous if swallowed, only very small amounts are included. This makes the products safe, but essentially nullifies any bacteria-fighting benefits they claim to have.

No way. I see how you might think it would do the trick but even a small amount could burn for hours and possibly damage your mucous membranes.
Try adding a couple drops of eucalyptus oil to hot steaming water and breathing in the vapors. That's a safer alternative.

Saline only!!!!! Anything else could cause damage to your sinuses.

Tea Tree oil is very caustic to the insides, and should only be used topically.

No. Tea tree oil should not be put in any body cavity.

Try a netti pot and drinking nettles tea. Grapeseed extract is good, too.

If you want to clean your sinuses, I would suggest using a nettie pot and saline solution.
