I go against this statement because to examine a life means you arent living the life otherwise there would be no reason to investigate it.
People have a right to live whatever kind of life they want as long as they arent negatively affecting another persons life.
If you dont know about the life then you have no right to judge whether its a valid one or not.
I examine my own life and learn from my mistakes to develop my life but thats out of suffering. My suffering gives me the motive to examine my life and change it.
If my life gives me complete happiness then i dont need to examine it or look at it in anyway because once you over analyse yourself you stop living and just become the observer of a "zombie". Alive but not living.

I disagree. A child is blissfully ignorant of the world.. yet their life is more than worth living. For me personally it would apply because for me I find my most important task is to seek wisdom.. and wisdom only comes from examining life and learning it's lessons... but not everyone is like me... and plenty are happy with that... the pursuit of happiness.. that is a large part of what life is about.. chasing that which you can only have for a little while.

I am against it because there are 6 billion people in this world and we can't all be in the global, or even national, spotlight. And that doesn't mean that those less known to the rest of humanity are in a life that isn't worth living.

For it, because life is not worth living until it is explored. From womb to tomb we all will go through some good things and bad. Childhood, school, marriage for some, childbirth for some, rent, bills, winning lotto for some, old age for some, then death. How many years, we all have a number. I hope i answered your question.

Totally disagree and agree at the same time. It depends on who's examining it. Disagree in that you don't need outside examination to validate a life. The choices made and actions taken will validate that life or not on their own. However, I agree in that you need to examine your own life. If you go through life without examining it yourself, then the opportunities and purpose are lost.

I totally support it. Human beings have the unique ability to assess and contemplate their lives. It is indeed what separates us from mere animals.
It means to me contemplation, and deliberation of my journey here on this planet. Where I am in my life and doing it in an open, honest, unabashed manner. It is me directing the mirror at myself. This I have done time and time again and it has been both painful and rewarding and has often led me to profound changes and transitions in my relationships with others, my career, and in other areas.

depends on what you mean by "unexamined"...I think it's important for a person to spend some time reflecting on his/her past, but I don't think everything needs to be analyzed...similarly, I don't need my life to be someone else's psych textbook or something like that...people can learn from some of my experiences, but they don't need to analyze every intimate detail of my life...

I don't like. Rather life is unexplained or explained, life is always worth living. Where there is bad good is usually right behind to fix it.

Against... How would not examining your life make it not worth living?
Well, I guess if you refer to "examining" as learning from past mistakes and whatnot, then I guess it makes sense.

I think it's terrible to say any life is not worth living for any reason.
