Project manager is bad.?

I have project in my institute. Our teams project manger is bad. she don’t know what is team work. she is talk like a truck driver. She is telling lies. I was not against to her. This is heard time to me. What should I do?

I don't know that htis is a philosophy question frankly but here is my advice.

Do your best work regardless. Express your concerns to the project manager's supervisor but do so without saying the PM is "bad." Give examples which are clear and specific in which you feel she falls short of her responsibilities. But above all else, continue to be the best team member you can be because that will show that you are professional regardless of the lack of professionalism around you.

1. Ask her if she said the things that were told to you. Just because she "talks like a truck driver" doesn't mean she said anything about you. Sometimes co-workers make up stories in order to cause dissent in the ranks.

2. If she says, yes, ask her why. If you do not like her response, then make a report about the issue to her boss.

3. If she says, no, tell her your co-workers told you and request a meeting with everyone present from your team to resolve the issue.

What is important to you?
The project? Or, the manager?

Why not ignore her and get on with the project? If you are concerned about your work not being recognized, or you are prevented from functioning and contributing; and if your peers in the project share the concern; bypass and go above and make your combined stand clear.

You can get out and change your work. If there are other concerns that prevent this, Grin and bear it.
