I usually say hello 4 or five times. then I try guessing who it might be and if no one answers after my accusations then i know it must be a problem with the phone or a prank call. Then you could use * 69 to find out the number that last called you.

I say "hello" twice, and if the person still doesn't say anything I tell them that if they can't talk they shouldn't be using a phone. Then I hang up.

It depends, i never say hello more then twice, sometimes ill say hello just once, then i will wait for a few seconds, if no response i hang up
