3 Wishes. First I'd ask for unlimited wishes, the health of my family and for my son to convert back into being a Christian.

I'd write down everything I could possible need and want to happen.. happy, healthy, world peace, end to hunger.. all that fun stuff.. on a piece of paper... run it by some very intelligent people and debate with them to make sure there were no loopholes that would cause my wishes to backfire on me due to their wording (like the jokes about guys wishing for their penis to touch the floor and "poof" their legs disappear) and then I would wish for everything on the list to come true effective immediately ... then I'd save the other two wishes as "just in case" liabilities.

I would choose the 3 wishes and give them away to those that really needed them. I wouldn't want the responsibility of the repercussions that come along with changes in the world or life in general.
