I haven't seen a dr yet, but I'm trying to figure out how far along i am. I spotted some this month, hence the pregnancy test. And Last month was a very short period. I have been having some heartburn but no nausea. I also notice that my stomach is larger but i haven't gained weight. If i am only a couple of weeks pregnant, i don't think it's possible. That's why i believe i may be father along. This is my first pregnancy so i don't know much.

By the time I was 6 weeks I couldn't button some of my pants. It's not legitimate baby weight at first. It's bloating. And it's normal! But just tell your doctor you're not sure how far along you are and he'll give you an ultrasound at your first appointment to check baby's growth. Till then, you can't know for sure.

The number of weeks you are in you're pregnancy is measured from the first day of your last period - Probably the one you had last month (I'd bet the light spotting was implant bleeding).

if your last months period was irregular then you should count 40 weeks from the first day of the period b4 the irregular one. That should be your due date and then you will be able to tell what week you are in. Good luck and congratulations!

You need the date of the first day of your last period to figure out how far along you are.

Congrats!!

I would assume if your belly is getting larger at all, and you are not gassy or bloated, then possibly you are further along than you think. you will know for sure soon by blood tests and an ultrasound.

Congrats regardless

You are producing a child inside of you. everything changes, the way you breath, the way you walk and also your stomach gets bigger to make more space. Is normal to get heartburn but if it increases then consult it with your doctor.

I would make an appt to see your OB/Gyn. They will be able to perform a vaginal ultrasound to determine how big the baby is and your est. due date. From there, you can count backwards to determine your conception date.
