I'm not sure I understand this. Is it 5x^2 + 10^2 + 35x?

If so, that is 5x^2 + 35x + 10^2.= 5x^2 + 35x + 100

Factor out a 5

2x^2 + 7x + 20

x = -7/4 +/- sqrt(-111)/4

If you wrote the problem wrong, the answer will, of course, be different.

interesting equation what you have seems to be
"5x plus ten squared plus thirty-five x"
10^2=100
5x+100 + 35x
5(x+20+7x)

if the equation is quadratic then..perhaps you meant
10x^2 + 5x+35x
5(2x^2+x+7x)

If you want the roots thats a different story...
