You mean those beauty contests where candidates get a few seconds to respond to a loaded question? Those are not debates they are a sham. They are a waste of time and money. People with any sense will do their research and will pay attention rather than watch such foolishness. I suppose at some point they will succomb to the silliness of those so called debates. It won't matter what channel they are on if the questioners are not ringers or plants there might be some semblence of fairness. Unfortunately I don't see that happening. They had one beauty contest already and maybe should have another closer to the primaries just to appease the people who get off on that stuff otherwise they should wait until actual candidates are selected at the coventions and nominated. Then we can see some debating (sort of).

in all possibility no longer till September. Politicians tend to take the summer off so that they might pander to their ingredients at u . s . fairs and native fairs in the process the summer. we will not see any presidential debates till after the events carry their national conventions, making their nominations to the presidency genuine. The Republicans might have theirs over the previous week of August, and the Democrats might have theirs each and every week later.

I'd love to see it on Fox...I can just imagine the so called candidates squirming at the podiums anticipating the next question with substance. My goodness they might actually have to prove they have plans...what a concept.
