it no longer irritates me because I realize the Q&A is for people from all countries and they all don't know English well but are really trying to keep up, however they do have intelligent questions and comments if you can buypass the spelling. People who get irritated probably are "detailed" people and perfectionists and can't see past the writing that there's a person at the end of the keyboard. Everyone has their own niche so both sides are ok.

I do acknowledge though that some write street talk, some misspell on purpose for emphasis, but still others haven't paid attention in English class and maybe English isn't important to them. Myself, I notice the bad language and gross questions.

I don't care about mispellings so much. What really bothers me is the new internet way of spelling everything. Whn ppl rite like dis jst 2 save a few seconds drives me crazy... Show's a disrespect for the reader, in my opinion.

I agree. Therefore I like to irrate them more by calling out the worst spelling offenders. Those are the ones who usually use short form.

Not really...because The spell check button only checks the title of the question, It doesn't check the description. But when people misspell in their answers they have no excuse.

YES...sometimes it's just typing too quickly on the keyboard...other times it's down right ignorance...i feel like education is going completely down hill or is it that kids are getting lazier.

It tickles me when the misspelling is an actual word and I answer as if that's what they actually meant.

I find it amusing that they don't know what 'Check Spelling' means.
