I used to have a boss I felt the same way for. I think I am crazy. Why do i end up like this with other people. This boss was not even that cute. Could it be that they are in a place of power or high status?

Shame on you!

Kidding!

This is normal thing, being attracted to someone that have experience in life in this case your doctor. You are amused by his knowledge, but you don't know nothing more than he tells you , right?

My advice would be don't cross the line...don't do or say anything stupid...

Spend more time with your boyfriend if you don't want to jeopardize your relationship with your guy.

I wish you luck! Have a nice day!

This is an example of transference. It is common in most therapy situations. II am not sure if this is a medical doctor or a psychologist. If it is in therapy it is considered to usually to be positive, if it is talked about in the therapy situation. It allows for more material to be discussed. In any case it is someting to be discussed with a professional. They should understand it and help you work through it. Don't act on it like it is anything other then transference. It is not real, only a expression of other needs.

Maybe sex with your current partner is getting boring or it's like a routine so u think of the doctor doing other things to you. You and ur partner should try new things it may help you stop thinking about the doctor.

Ask yourself what exactly you expecting from seeing this doctor? You know that you are flirting with disaster here. You have two people who can be hurt from your desires. Think realistically about what the outcome will be, and why you would choose to lose one thing for the other. I think it would be unwise to continue seeing your doctor, because there's nothing you can gain from it.

In lgiht of the fact that women generally do not have physical signs of erousal (like an erection), at least you will not be embarrassed . . . imagine if the tables were turned and a guy was attracted to a female doctor?!?!

Don't remember the name of the syndrome, but many people identify sexually with their Dr. of therapist. It is because we feel safe and look up to these people. Kinda like a hero. It will pass, and no, having fantasies is not a form of cheating on your partner.

I don't know enough about your situation to say anything with certainty but it sounds like you are attracted to strong men with power and prestige... my advice would be to roll play in the bedroom a little with your current man.. help you satisfy your need for these things.

That is very common. Don't worry about it too much, but just remember that fantasy is better than reality.

By the way it is not a syndrome it is called Transference.
