I see it all the time with my friend and her boyfriend. He's constantly hurting her, cheating on her, and she constantly comes to me bawling her eyes out because he's being so insensetive. But, as always, she returns to him constantly, she refuses to give him up. She knows he's hurting her repeatedly, she just keeps letting him. We all know his game, and we know we can help, but she won't let us. She's one of the sweetest, funniest people I know, and we've been friends for longer than everyone else we know. She doesn't deserve this kinda treatment, and all he deserves is an STD-riddled ho. But she won't leave him. That's what I hate.

People are free to make their own choices. If there are people in relationships being hurt by the other person, it's not just the person who's hurting who is at fault. The person who is tolerating and enabling the hurt by remaining in the relationship is also at fault because they are making the conscious choice to stay - we all have free will to decide what we want to do with our own lives.

No, it's none of my bussiness. Who am I to judge what they see in each other? It was a choice made both of them. If they are happy, that's all that matters.
