lol, I had the privilege of seeing "The Amazing Randi" do this.. he is a magician and a pragmatist.. the spoon was pre-bent several times so as to weaken the metal and make it very easy to bend.. the rest is slight of hand and illusion... suffice it to say it is a sadly unimpressive trick when you see what is behind the magic... my personal advice.. enjoy the mystery.. because once you figure it out all the fun is gone.

I have not seen this though I have seen some fakes. By the way I think it's possible to do since we are all part of the whole. Our minds are composed of more than just our physical brains in our bodies but of a higher consciousness that is connected to all. We can use that connection to do many things, most of them considered psychic however these are just natural gifts that we all possess.
Now that being said what's the purpose of bending a spoon other than to prove something or inflate one's ego. I believe the better action is to use your talents to help others.

Yes, they really can do these things. It's true that human uses the 10% of is brain, those people use more than this.. Did you know that even our thoughts have energy? That is why they can bend spoon or move things.. :)
Hope I helped!

ever wondered why its only spoons?
magicians can do this trick too..
my friend showed me how to do it using an aluminium fork. You have to do something to the fork/spook first to create a weak point. You bend it at certain intervals that a person cannot see.
you cannot bend things with the mind and the brain. if they could, they would be rich people by now and not resort to doing simple entertainment tricks.

My sister met someone in North Carolina who was walking along a beach entertaining people by bending forks and spoons and whatever else they wanted him to bend. It was quite enlightening. He said he'd lived in a monastery for seven years, and it had taken him that long to overcome the doubts in his mind and really believe he could do it.
I think the key would be that if you can believe something so much, you can make it happen. The human mind is an incredible thing, when it's put to work.

It's a trick spoon, you'll see them holding and rubbing the spoon in a certain area before they let go, if you heat up the right area with friction the heated metal will bend. That's if I remember right.
It's a trick, nothing more.

It is a trick. As far as only using a small percentage of our brains that is how you look at it. We actually only use the surface of our brains (so yes a small part) The rest is structure and connections. We can't use that part to Think, but we couldn't if we wanted to. We use all of our brain structures that can be used.

Sorry, no. The JREF has a $1 million prize for anyone who can perform this under controlled conditions. Many fakers and frauds have tried, none were able to prove this is a real thing. It's just wishful thinking.

Thoughts are things and they create. Your thoughts can make you sick, or accelerate healing .... or they can reprogram your reality. And thoughts can bend metal. But our programming tells us this isn’t possible.
