If u don't please respond anyway and say "No, I don't know" I'm trying to see how many people are aware of thier IQ. You can answer and say "Yes, I know what it is" and not tell me, that's fine!

*grin* Good enough for Mensa. :P

Edit: Kittykitty, it's true that some tests, especially those you'll find online, only measure IQ up to 150 (which does include 99.9% of the population). However, higher scores are certainly possible with more accurate tests; theoretically, there's no limit, though practically speaking, anyone with an IQ of 250 or more would be literally one in a trillion, or even rarer.

For reference, this link shows a number of known-intelligent people, with their likely IQ ratings -- Einstein is shown in the 160 to 174 category.

http://www.geocities.com/rnseitz/Definition_of_IQ.html

And *this* link has info on Marilyn Vos Savant, whose claim to fame is the highest recorded IQ score -- hers ranges between 167 and 230, depending on which test was used, but probably does fall somewhere above 200.

Me, mine's at least high enough to qualify me as a smarta*s...and to make it clear to me that IQ is *not* a measure of one's true worth.

It's been about 10 years since I took a test. I had an IQ of 147. That in no way means I'm smart. I lack a lot of common sense. It just means there are certain things I'm very perceptive about.

I'm sure I lost many points in my 20s!

Is there a good way to find out? There are several different types of tests that I'm sure will all give different results. I don't believe a universal IQ system really exists. But I do know my SAT/ACT scores...

Thats the closest I could get to an IQ..

I think some people are lying...150 is Einstein, I doubt those who say they're 140 or more. I agree with the guy below me, and yes I took mine online. And the girl who said she has an IQ of 152 obviously has an IQ of 0 because the max is 150!

IQ is the only one part of your brain, because in our brain there are three parts i.e (1) IQ (2) EQ (3) SQ
if you have all these three parts in you brain than you have prefect brain .Because IQ only show the intellegency, but EQ &SQ are also required for our mental power increases.Because our mind required also emotional &spirtual powers.

no, because the only "IQ tests" I have taken were online, and those aren't accurate worth a poo!!

The average IQ is 100- 115, but those tests will tell everybody they're well into the genius range
