at first I thought so when I my cousin was diagnosed but over the years we watched her struggle so hard with it and in the end she killed herself.

For some, it is. I've seen this in people I know.

Edit- actually I think some people are ******* first, then they SAY it's because of bi-polar.

Notice I say SOME. Not all.

yes i do,my cousin is married to one and everytime she cant get what she wants and throws a fit she uses her bi-polar mental status for a excuse.

I wish that were true...I lost somebody I love as a result of the disease, i don't think he thought it was an excuse....
