I'm 22, almost 23 and my biological father NEVER once paid child support, nor supported me, nor helped me in anything like college or medical bills. He only came to see me a few times when I was a toddler. My mother never ordered child support from him.

AT THIS POINT IN MY LIFE CAN I SUE HIM FOR THE CHILD SUPPORT THAT HE NEVER GAVE ME MY ENTIRE LIFE?

IF SO, PLEASE TELL ME WHAT I WOULD HAVE TO DO IN ORDER TO CARRY IT OUT SUCCESSFULLY?

No, only your mother could sue for back support and as you are 22 (and if not still in school) if she has not already, the statute of limitations may have expired. If she wants to pursue that avenue, she should see an attorney as soon as possible.

Another strong consideration would be to find out the assets that your father has; if he doesn't have any, even if though she may win a Judgment, if he has no assets or worthwhile income, all she would end up with is an unforceable Judgment and the only benefit is it would show up as a liability on his credit record.

In many states the law allows a child to sue for back support when the turn 18. You might check with social or family services to see if there is a statue of limitations on how long after you can sue to recoup onpaid support....Good luck

It was your mother's responsibility to ask for child support when you were young. If she didn't get an order of child support from the court,it is too late now.You are now an adult, and are therefore not entitled to child support.
Even if you would be able to collect back support,it would go to your mother, not to you, since she is the one who supported you your entire life.
There are many young people in your same situation,my son is one of them.Get over it and move on with your life,it isn't worth the aggravation it will cause in your life.He probably wouldn't pay it even if you would happen to win a case like this.I know it is tough knowing that your parent didn't care enough to support you.HE is the one that missed out on having a relationship with you,his child.YOU are not missing out on anything without him in your life.He isn't worth your time.

Shame on him!

You should seek an attorneys advice for this situation. He/she will be able to advise you of any steps you need to take if any.

In this website you can find a local attorney, read their profile and email or telephone them if you like.

Some attorneys have an over the phone free consultation, if they feel that you have a case then they will have you come in for a more detailed conversation.

Good Luck.

Adult child support cases have been successful in some states (I believe CA has had a few). You should contact an attorney in your state to determine if it is possible. You should do so soon, you may already have a problem with the statute of limitation.

Hey, I know how you feel, I too never got a single cent on child support, although my mother had requested it. I did found a website that might help you, hopefully... http://www.getchildsupporthelp.com/
There are other websites that might help you...

I hope it helps, if you're able fight it for all of us who don't have or never had child support.

I think that would be the responsibility of your mother.

No, but your mother can sue him, but probably won't win.
