What are your thoughts on it?
I found it absolutely amazing, i am going to have to watch it again, just to be floored by the direction and art work of the film...

i really did not know what to expect, i am truely taken with this film...

Yes, I thought it was amazing too - I have seen it three times now, twice in the cinema and once on the DVD.
The extras on the DVD are very good as they give you an idea of what the director was thinking.
I'm not sure if it is sad or not, the ending makes you think a lot. I was in tears at the end the first time I saw it and so were a lot of others in the cinema

I was shocked at the brutality of some of the scenes. I don't know why but I expected more of an adventure but it still goes down for me as a film that is great to look at even if you don't enjoy watching it (which I did).

I thought it was a really well-made film. It was very sad though but I would like to watch it again at some stage.

Yeh, amazing i love all fairytales films like that and it was just an ace odd and different take on them! Amazing costumes and make-up too. Made the creatures scary!

Absolutely brilliant film, I have just bought it on DVD as I loved it so much. It was amazing the imagery and cinematography was superb - I would recommend anyone to watch it!

I loved it, even with the subtitles. It's a fantasy, and it's set in Spain just before the end of WW2.

I agree it's beautiful looking film and very moving. I did feel so sorry for Ofelia and the girl playing her was an amazing actresss.

I totally agree with you. The movie was beautifully done even though it was supposed to be dark and twisted. Great storyline, amazing fantasy creatures. It was imagination at its finest. two thumbs up! i think i'll watch it again tonight! haha u should too!

saw it at the cinema and loved every minute - really powerful yet at the same time almost fairytale like - the musci was haunting and i thought the little girl was great!
