There are a lot of people in Hollywood from all ranges of the political spectrum. Lets not forget about the member of the Hollywood elite who is president of the NRA, not exactly a liberal organization. It seems that those who spew this rhetoric are either using it to sell themselves as anti-establishment or are so far to the right that anyone is a liberal.

Don't YOU find it odd that the left continously complain, whine, moan, and groan about whatever the right does? Hey, if actors want to run, go ahead, but some of those Hollywood people are just plain idiots that think they know what they are talking about and spew out nothing but trash!

I think the complaining is about the idiots in Hollywood. The use of the term is a generalization and when they like an actor for some office they are getting specific rather than using the generalization.

I find it amusing more than anything. They fail to see the hypocrisy in so much of what they believe. They complain about the "Hollywood elite" influencing people then turn around and pray for Fred Thompson to run for President.

it particularly is previous me. they are the individuals who stand to lose a million/2 their income in the event that they get their way and have Obama. besides, i do no longer recommendations if a action picture star states who they are for, yet whilst they be able to slot in a political schedule throughout the time of their overall performance--i think of they ought to positioned the microphone down and practice to grant the a reimbursement to the audience. Audiences of those performers are a mix of get jointly affiliations, and to coach off a number of your audience in accordance with very own alternatives is definitely no longer a valid corporation selection. They have been paid to accomplish, no longer make a stand.

For the same reason the left likes to hate those in America who are making profits, but don't want to point out people like Bill Gates, Oprah, Michael Moore, George Soros. The outrageous profits that these people make go under the liberal radar even though combined, they are more than Exxon. Exxon at least provides a good. Excluding Gates the rest make outlandish profits only providing a service.

The distinction is that Republicans are bad or mediocre actors, they're not the elite of Hollywood. It's the same thing with Bush. He went to elite schools, but he was a bad or mediocre student.

What we find offensive are people who have absolutely no political science or foreign affairs education, spouting off at the mouth, using their celebrity to do it on an international level, like they are experts in both fields. What is amusing is that these people are actors, they pretend to be other people for a living. Yes, there have been actors who have held political office, Ronald Reagan, Clint Eastwood, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sonny Bono, Fred Grandy, et.al.
Ronald Reagan was a very successful governor before he was elected president. The others have not affected me, so I know nothing about their backgrounds.
Here are some of the educational backgrounds of some of the "loudest" Hollywood types who use their celebrity to bash, name-call, and scream about President Bush and who pay to put ads in newspapers to defame him and those around him.
