I can't stand "The Jerry Springer Show." Yes, in my opinion, the fights are staged.

it's not so much that the fights are staged, that they are guaranteed to happen. you have trailer joe popping his girlfriend who is also his sister. then comes daddy of trailer joe wanting his piece, cuz after all he is the father to them both, and if sonny can get some, daddy wants some too. then trailer mom decides to hump the family goat cuz she wants action too. then they bring them all onstage and someone has to decide who's going to sleep with whom, then there is a free for all as to who gets to keep the family teeth. when the goat eats the teeth, that's when the fight begins, then the muscle men (security) jump in, no one can land a punch. much better 10 years ago cuz there was always a good cat fight and they were allowed to show the slapping, kicking, hitting.

now, all you see when the fur starts flying is some fatto in the audience, mouth agape, as the real action can't be shown to the tv audience. very lame. so is the show.

Of course they are staged. Only the truly stupid either watch it or participate in it. His staff where going through letters and one said "we have two black women who are fat and are willing to fight on stage naked" come on these people will do anything for 5 minutes of fame. Springer show is tired old and just as staged as any WWF match.......

There is a show on VH1 called "The Springer Hustle" showing us just how they coach and set up the guests to fight and tell them what to say. You should check it out. and no I don't like the show.

I still like Steve though.. He is hot. :-)

Staged all day! I had a male friend who made the show. He was suppose to go on to hear that his wife was cheating with another woman. But he was there to tell her that he was cheating with another man.
They were coached to fight and swear.
It is about as real as wrestling. =)

Many people must be loving it. It has high viewership. The fights are staged. I saw it on the insider with Pat O' Brien.

I don't watch it but my parents love it. I think they are all staged. Ever notice people jump on each other when the "ding, ding" of the bell rings? Every time, even if they weren't arguing that bad to begin with.

No I don't care for any of his outrageous shows. They are tasteless.I prefer a show where I can learn something new.A more grounded show like How's It Made/It's fun to watch and it's so educational.

I think they are very much staged. Why in the world would you come on National Tv and diss and fight your Mama?

No, I don't anymore. That is a fake show, they are paid to act that way. I don't think it takes much, some act like that anyway in real life. It is sad.
