Hi, I went to the doctors today to have check up. I was having an internal done and the doctor said that she found blood in my cervix, it was only slight and then she showed me and it looked mucousy and brown? I am now slightly worroed that I have cervical cancer. I have been having pains in my lower stomach and have a slight discharge daily, but I also have chronic thrush. I asked the doctor if I should be worried (she is not my usual doctor) and she told me to go and see my regular doctor, who is not available for 4 days. Has anyone else had this problem? Yes, I have had this problem and in my case it was an infection of my cervix. It is possible this is what it might be. And yes, I have sometimes had stomach pain too when the infection has been bad enough. I had a huge problem with cervical infections from 2003-2005.
If the symptoms get worse I would call in another day to let them know what is going on.
